It happens to so many of us. You need a last minute gift. There’s no time to have anything online delivered, and you can’t bring yourself to grab something from the miscellaneous aisle at CVS. So you look around for something to regift. Well, here’s one idea.

There is a convenience store here that, for some arcane reason, stocks in small convenience store-sized fruitcakes. No, really. I have now given them to people as gag anti-gifts twice. “I got you fruitcake. Not just any fruitcake. Convenience store fruitcake. With the $2.69 label on it still.”
Regifting is probably less evil than that, even a cat.

Give it a shot, and let me know how it works out.

Sad truth: I would probably gobble up the cake and then try to go buy some more.

Plot twist: it’s actually
really good fruitcake
, at least for the price.
